Almost all search engines require that you submit only one page of your site.
Submitting more than one page of your site can be seen as a spamming attempt to the search engines. If you submit more than one page of your site, you run the risk of getting banned from the search engines.
Your main index page which is in most cases your home page eg. www.domain.com is the only page necessary for search engine submission.
Search engines will start indexing your website at the submitted page. They will find your other web pages via the links on the submitted web page and follow through the entire site.
Some search engines categrize your website. For these search engines, you must choose a category from the list. Select the category that best describes the topic or focus of your website.
Note that not all search engines have all the categories that are displayed in the list. For these search engines, we will automatically choose the most appropriate category, based on the category and website type you select.
The categories provided in the list reflect the categories of the search engines. If your website does not fit into one of these categories, it won't fit into one of the search engines' categories either.
The descriptions on the left are necessary for those search engines that don't read the META description tag.
unfortunately, there is no standard for the description length. Some search engines limit the description to 25 words, while some search engines accept even 350 letters.
For this reason, there are three different description fields, so that we can provide the description in the right length for a given search engine.
Try to write a short and attraqctive description that makes your website interesting. Avoid superlatives in your descriptions.
Some search engines want to know exactly who submits a website, and for whom it is being submitted. These engines will not list your site if you don't provide contact information, or if the provided email address doesn't work.
Some search engines will automatically subscribe you email address to their newsletters. For this reason, we strongly recommend you to enter an email address that you use only for submitting.
Nethertheless, it is crucial to have a working email address in which you can check for search engines submission requests you will recieve from different search engines for the purpose of activating and/or updating your website information.
Some search engines ask for a username and password, in order to create a personal account for you. Both username and password can be chosen freely.
