The Minicart
We've recently developed a modification to our e-commerce interface that will
allow your customers to be more informed while they browse through your shopping
cart. We refer to it as the
"minicart"
because it is a subset of the actual shopping cart subroutine of your website.
Just like the full featured ecommerce cart system, it will update itself whenever a customer adds an item
to the cart, and provide him or her with the information in the same place on the
screen at all times.
Our
"minicart"
software allows you to list
regular and sales pricing by default. However using this module you can also
supply special pricing to a limited number of users. Using a discount code, a
customer can retrieve special pricing at checkout. You can have only certain
items tagged for discount pricing, and you can have a discount code or coupon
expire after a certain amount of time. Discount pricing is great for promotions,
to reward return customers, or to offer special deals on bulk orders. We also
offer a module that allows customers to purchase a gift certificate for a
certain amount, and then redeem it at a later date. Gift certificates are
transferable and can be used all at once or little by little.
